Flo’s Ditalini & Peas

Ingredients

1 cup uncooked ditalini

2 cloves garlic, crushed

1/2 cup frozen peas

1 1/2 teaspoon salt

Pepper to taste

Parmesan

Instructions

  1. In large saucepan, add 1 tablespoon of salt to 1 qt of water.

  2. Bring to boil. Add ditalini and cook 5-6 minutes over medium heat. Add frozen peas and cook together four 1-2 minutes. Strain.

  3. In large frying pan, over medium heat, brown 2 cloves crushed garlic until fragrant. Add ditalini and peas to the garlic and mix thoroughly.

  4. Add pepper and cheese to taste

Notes:

Good hot or cold.

Saute shallot with garlic

Add a couple anchovies

Add pancetta
